Barbequed onions

As well as cooking onions in chunks on kebabs or frying them on a side burner, there are other thing you can do with onions on the barbeque!
Pick small onions and peel them after topping and tailing them. Wrap them in foil with a pinch of salt and a drop of olive oil. Cook for about 15 minutes depending on the size of the onions. Remove from the barbeque and unwrap adding fresh lemon juice to them. They are delicious!
Alternative finely chop sage and spinkle a little on the onions before wrapping them in foil and cooking as above.
